Yo! I'm still here. Still up to meet. August sounds good but SOONER sounds good also!

how about we all go to the Flash Mob event on Thursday? I can forward you the info if you email me. We can all meet up–just follow my mod target t-shirt–and then party afterwards. Who's in?

I can probably do Thurs. nite -- I'll email you. What's Flash Mob?

Lionheart

It's when a couple of people get together and flash the passerby....

Actually it's this thing where a bunch of people meet up at a pre-arrangewd place at a pre-arranged time to form a mob which lingers there for about 10 minutes.

We can't meet at the flash mob though because it only last for 10 minutes and nobody's going to know where it's at until tommorow.

I'll find a link and post it up.

Shit, I've got something until about 7:45 pm in midtown - where will you be meeting up afterwards, do you think? Wish I could make the actual MOB gathering; sounds cool.-

Boy in a Suitcase

Boy in a Suitcase

OK, looks like there's going to be a meet-up for sure. Everybody come! We're meeting up at a bar at 8 also. Email me before 6:30 for my phone #.

Boy in a Suitcase

Augh! I got on the wrong train and missed it. Sorry to anybody who went, I knpw you were just there for my fahhhbulous presence. Right. I heard it sucked though, everybody just went to Central Park like a normal crowd. Met up with Lionheart and Hunter Wolf afterwards there, fun conversation. Who's up for having another?

This is very short notice but Boy in a Suitcase and I will be meeting at SubTonic 107 Norfolk between Delancey and Rivington in LES on Tuesday night 7:30pm. Close to JMZ and F trains.

They are playing the film "Society of the Spectacle" by french situationist Guy De Borg. I know the book but didn't even know it was a film. All welcome. We are meeting out front 7:30.

Lionheart
14:37 / 29.07.03
I can't meet up till after 8pm today (Tuesday).

Hmmm.... I know what I'll do. I'll set up another meet!

It's gonna be this Friday at the Citicorp centre.

http://rtf.kracked.com/2600.html

That web site has some good info plus directions on how to get to the ever magical Citicorp centre.

The Barbelith meet will coincide with the2600 meet. And it will be good. And I'll bring a camera or something.

Boy in a Suitcase
16:42 / 29.07.03
Since I was going to both meets anyway, I'll be there!

Wish I could go -- would love to see that film -- but I'm meeting a friend at 8 pm in the West Village to talk about a logo design I'm doing for her.

Totally random suggestion: Anyone up for a midnight screening of DONNIE DARKO at the Two Boots/Pioneer Theater Fri. or Sat. night? I'm gonna go this weekend to finally see this movie.

And BoyInA, I'll send you my proposed contribution to the disinfo. book soon. It was great hanging with you and Lionheart.

Sorry I flaked on the Industrial Show, my IP got banned. Yay, Trolls.

Anyway - August 15th at CBGBs is going to be a good show. Good bands from 10PM to 1 AM. Can't guarantee the quality of the acts before or after, but Skyrocket, Fixer*, Angel13 and Joker Five Speed are all good.

And, as a matter of fact, August 14th at the Luna Lounge will also be good, and will in addition be FREE. 9:30, Ludlow south of Houston.

* - Okay, I've never heard Fixer. But everyone else seems to love them.

I'm probably gonna with Iconoclast's suggestion

BUT

Bitchiekittie is gonna be in town this Thursday to Sunday. What're the plans for that?

Boy in a Suitcase
18:08 / 05.08.03
I'm going to visit my (ex?)girlfriend in Boston from Fri-Sun but I would be up for drinking or otherwise Thursday night.

Lionheart

So, Antle...uh..I mean "Boy in Suitcase", what's the plan for the meet? I say after 8pm around... somewhere in Manhattan.

Boy in a Suitcase
22:21 / 06.08.03
I'm up for a quiet bar atmosphere myself. You probably know more places than me.

Lionheart
00:37 / 07.08.03
Yeah. With me being underage (20. 21 on November 30th!) and not much of a drinket but who can get any amount of alcohol from his parents (for uhm....religious reasons!) I know lots of places where to drink!

Okay, so maybe that doesn't sound that sarcastic.

What i'm trying to say is that i've no clue about which bars are good bars. I, myself, just sit on my ass at alt.coffee (137 Avenue A) and stare at the walls.

Am now in Boston for the weekend... Tonic event sounded like a lot of artsy fun, actually, but my bus out of the city was at 7. All NYC Barbeloids should plan another event soon though. I will look for interesting stuff when I get back.

BTW, it was great to meet you, bitchiekittie!

Apparently a round trip from New York to Boston costs 20 bucks.
