Great to see the previews on the Crack site and great to see that we'll be returning to the Paperverse. Obviously Ultra-Humanitarian's having a bad day - along with the crew of the Crab. Mmmm - the closer the characters in the Paperverse get to 'reality', the more dangerous things get. Poor old Secret Original.

And...... Greg's got his comb-over back!

Back on the Max Thunderstone issue - I think that everything's playing out in the correct order. Greg refers to betraying him in issue 11 and they were clearly trying to subdue Max rather than kill him previously. Then he's "recycled" and put back into action on the side of the Hand. "Mother Dirt thinks of everything"

Thank you for pointing out the previews, arcboi - I'd forgotten about the crack comicks site.

Snu, I recognise now that the death of Dmitri-9 could be taken both ways - despite the aggressive primitive response by the greater system in recognising and eliminating a rogue cell, Dmitri-9 until that point had been an effective agent of the Hand. However, in his rage to kill Greg, he begins destroying friendly cells - the para Greg and Errol and so the system functions to eliminate him. Rather than evolving beyond the behaviour as I'd suggested before, it seems that the system is merely acting to maintain homeostasis - status:Q as reflected in the Paperverse by the Status Quorum. In addition, the I-Life appear to have been removed from Alpha-Sapiens in the Paperverse by the Hand and discovered by Dr Soon.

Agree with Ganesh - "Oh no, a poor little cat!" is the best thing in this issue. It's the jokes that redeem The Filth for me, and they're what keep me coming back. Although I do like the idea of The Hand as sinister organisation who lure you in with kinky sex, weird adventures and the authority to go around killing people, all the while trying to brainwash you into accepting a projected fictional identity - now that's the negative inversion of The Invisibles that I'm interested in. Kabbalah immune systems zzzzz.

Spartacus Hughes became an antiperson when he became aware that Spartacus Hughes was an imposed, false parapersona (twice). As now has Feely/Slade. The real question is if Thunderstone will manage to regain his original awareness over Hughes. It´s obvious that both Feely and Thunderstone were part of an anti-conspiration conspiration, trying to overthrow the Filth and their Status Q. But why has mother dirt helped them in an underground way?

Because they are cancer cells not disease cells? 'Immunity' doesn't do much against cancer if i recall secondary school biology right, although I probably don't.
