Weston posted images from 3 ages ago... and he's been working piecemeal on it during his work for the filth...

I was, um, a little, um, disappointed in issue 6. It was a pretty lackluster conclusion to what has been an amazing series. Issue 1 was utterly spectacular.

It just seemed a bit too easily thrown together. Ok, we've drawn out the Moreau thing for 3 issues, and what does he have? Bio weapons in a jar. Lob that thing over to the aliens, and WHOOSH, they are dead.

Seemed a bit boring.

Awww, I liked this issue a lot! I didn't think it was anticlimactic. Moore said he was going to follow the book and I thought the cover-up of the anthrax hybrid (points to everyone on this thread who predicted it'd be a virus) was very clever. ("The cold killed the Martians, any people killed were killed by the Martians")

Hyde's scene with Mina was AWESOME. I loved his 'sing the song while destroying Martians and getting killed' scene. After he kisses Mina and feels her up, his life is complete and he's ready to leave this world, damned and fucked up as he is. Plus, as he says, what more does life have to offer him than being wretched and killing things? Even though I knew it was coming, Moore's use of "Hyde Park" being named after him was brilliant. (I wonder who it was really named for in history? Anyone know?)

Mina leaves Allan?!!? Noooooo!!!!

Okay, so it wasn't titanic - which I agree would have been nice - but it was lovely stuff nonetheless.

That panel where Hyde dances off to meet the approaching martians.
