not in my mind its not, but then i suppose that what i identify with is far more dependent on your opinion than i originally realised.

to me, you can identify as a pervert in much the same way as you can identify with being gay or straight, or even bi. (no, i dont mean that they are the same thing)

but then, i use gay as a descriptor that doesn't necessarily mean homosexual, and sometimes i use it pejoratively in spite of/because it means that very thing.
