Hey, Dysfunctional Mass - those pages are spicy. Hope your artist gets well soon (does he have a name?) - keep us up-to-date on the comic's progress, ya hear?

Yeah, Fly. I just got an email today that he's feeling much better but he's busy with paid work to stave off his medical bills. But our project is still going forward, albeit on the fringes of our time. Keep your fingers crossed for us.

And his name is Donny Kurniawan.

Goal number one is complete. I got a car. 1980 Camaro Z28. Not my dream car, but it will do. Unfortunately goal number one came with many subgoals attached. Still have to get registration, tags, and insurance.

Chairman, have you finished yet? Is your artist STILL sick?! Get to it, draw the fucker yourself if need be.

Pin, have you learned to paint your nails yet? I hate to call anyone lazy, but it doesn't sound like the hardest of projects. Practice makes perfect!

Our Poptastic Ladytron, how goes the writer's block? Complete either of the novels? Tell me that you've at least completed the short story.

Jade please tell me you are back in college. I will understand if you never found a proper job. Because they generally suck. But the fall semester's coming up, so let's get going.

Destitute, what's the status of the Rockabilly Mage and the Samurai comic? Tell Donny Kurniawan to get going. He's hardly developed the heat of a Hitch or Quietly, so deadlines must be met!

Rose, how did those articles on U.S. comic distribution go? You DID complete them didn't you?

Lilith your novel was up to 120,00 words. I trust it is almost finished by NOW?

I understand that I was your King for about a day, but I never claimed to be your mother. So get to work people!

Ugh. I don't want to cop to this thread but Jack's whip cracking is so heartfelt and beautiful. And needed. Where would we be without ya, your majesty?

The samurai comic is slowly becoming stillborn, I fear. I haven't heard from Donny in a while and I think he may have moved on to other things. Brother's gotta make a living so I don't blame him for seeking out the pay gigs above all others. Which sucks. I was all revved to write some zombie killin' samurai.

The Wanderer (me rockabilly mage thang) is currently in a distilling process, right on schedule. I'm cutting down the extra fat of late inspirations and trying to summarize the story from start to finish, ironclad, no more tweaking. It's been about a month, 30 pages now (& counting) but it's necessary for me to push towards a final script. Still trying to find an artist that's interested but if worse comes to worse I'll do it straight prose (but I really don't wanna).

So what's the status on everybody else's to-do list?
