Actually, there's quite a lot I might say on the subject of chimp communities vs human ones 'cos I'm a cousin of Jane Goodall, the chimp expert. Straight up! Also, have you read Soylent Green, for the addictive properties of slaughtered normality?

Bush meat (and quickly cleaned up meat) is a very popular trade where I live. My local Food Standards department is highly overworked - I watched them dealing with an illegal trader in snails earlier!

Great Apes: Good, Hoo'Graa even. Shame about How the Dead Live and Dorian though. Me thinks he spends too many energies on light entertainment pap instead of chasing the dragon.

Though he did once claim that Chris Morris is God, so he can't be all bad.

I'm so-o-o-o-o glad Will Self is recognised in the US too! One of the things he's most regarded for in the UK is substance abuse on the Prime Minister's plane, that would be like Dr Thompson snorting a line on Air Force One, right?!

Have you caught any of the Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer show's that WS is on coming out from the UK yet? He could do so much more to subvert normality IMO but never gets a chance!

Oo-er, we see it on the good old BBC - public service broadcasting to you in the US! George Dawes = 1 firecracker, George Dawes dressed up as his mum = 2 firecrackers (one each end!).

I am going now, being as it is 1.30am here, bedtime! This has turned into another Night Shift thread hasn't it? Been nice rappin' with ya, lovely to meet another afficionado of Dr Thompson and Will Self.
