| get in touch with Anne Mclintock, who teaches at Columbia University. or at least she did when i was there. she was an amazing teacher, and she editted the issue of Social Text that was all about sex industry and had articles by Candida Royale, etc. She wrote a book called Imperial Leather about colonial theory and BDSM. she rocks. as i recall, she was having a difficult time with the admin when i was there so maybe she split town to a more hospitable environ (who would think that the uni with Spivak would be so anti-cultural studies, but its true). But at least its a start -- she's yr lady. |
