I'm sure Mordant or somebody has done this before, but let's have a thread specifically devoted to rot. First, we need a topic to digress from. It should appear complex but shouldn't be anything too serious (more than enough Fucking Shit Up going on elsewhere right now). Any suggestions?

Hey, ZQalyn? You're more than welcome to start another thread if you want to talk about being on topic--could we try to stay offtopic, please?

Women are seen, certainly on the High Street, as the target consumer of clothes. This is evident not only through the quantity of garments that are available to them but also through the construction of the shops that serve both sexes. The majority will house the female lines on the ground floor allowing the consumer to walk straight in and examine the product. Men often have to walk up or down a flight of stairs in order to access the clothes. This is particularly handy for the Anna's of this world who happen to have a mild stair phobia, as previoudly discussed in Conversation, I like to bring it all back to me.

So it's stairs then? Walking up and down stairs? That's interesting, because right now I live in a house without stairs. There's a step, of course. But in a couple of weeks, I'll be moving to a new apartment which is right at the top of the first flight of stairs, and I have spent a lot of time working out the tactical defense of my front door. Do you do that? Run through scenarios remeniscent of Rorschach's capture or the second half of Marathon Man?

You talk about stairs... do you know how many stairs there are in Baghdad, and how many there will be in a week's time? Concentrate on the real issues.

Marathon man? Wasnt that something like Logan's Run? That reminds me I have a friend turning 30 soon. I hope he chooses carousel. Although Yelling "Run, Runner!" and then shooting at him seems like a great idea for a birthday party.

Cosmicjamas, my learned counsel, are you sure of your diagnosis? I'm confused as to Bengali's interest in Mr. Ferguson's future activities with athletic support. Inquiring minds must be told.

Marathon Man is a Dustin Hoffman movie where Dustin gets his teeth drilled without anaesthetic by Doctor Mengela. Sp? I think more is made in that particular flick about a window that is a jar, however. Also, a briefcase that is a jar.

There is no window
There is no jar.

Now, excuse me while I hide under a pile of coats and wait for everything to work itself out..

That's all well and good, but have you ever heard the soundtrack to Final Fantasy 7? It's GREAT!

By listening to soundtracks you're just accepting status as a tool of the multinational conspiracy to initiate cross-media mind control.

How can anyone support that? How can you willingly give them your tacit support? Facist.

Facist: One who routinly mounts the face. Speaking of mounts... I dont htink I like Mountain Dew. Not the softdrink but the actual Dew on the mountains. Its just sooo...hillishly awfull.

Hey! FUN FACT: While Mountain Dew in the USA has the most caffeine compared to other pops, in Canada it has none! Due to some weird federal law.

Mmmm. Mountains. I never saw a mountain up close unti a few years ago. Very impressive. I want to live on top of one by the ocean... like Vancouver or something. Or China.

That's not half as strange as the fact that 7Up which has never had caffeine now has a variant with caffeine!

Now will they start putting cola flavors in to counteract the Uncola nut?

Baz Auckland
03:17 / 19.03.03
I thought 7UP and Sprite did have caffeine.. Odd.. I think that caffeinated water is the strangest.

Thank God for caffeine though. I have to start writing an essay now. Need to finish it by tomorrow. It's 12am. I have to leave for work at 8:15am. Coffee is good as it looks like I'll be up for a looong while. I suck. I may try and claim 'war stress' to get an extenstion. I really haven't been able to get much done since Sunday night due to being freaked out. Blah blah blah. Ahh. Time to write.

Remember Clear Cola? That stuff was great... or Raspberry Ginger Ale? I remember having Hubba Bubba Soda as a kid. Really nasty. The drug store by my house used to have experimental Hostess Chips flavours. Fun stuff like Hot Dog and Bacon, Cheese and Tomato among others. Well, okay, the hot dog ones were nasty since they really tasted like plain hotdogs.

Has it occurred to anyone else that this whole war thing is really
Bush's king kill? Does he actually have to kill Saddam, or can he
just have him killed in order to receive his 33rd Degree status? I
wish Free Masons had better taste, really.

I'm almost certain that Mountain Dew doesn't have caffeine in it in Australia, and I'm positive that 7-Up doesn't. It's not because of any weird laws, though, because there are high-caffeine beverages all over the place.

I would quite like caffeinated lemonade. I don't believe I have ever seen that. You can get Jolt in Grape, Root Beer, Creaming Soda, and Orange & Vanilla flavours.

Orange soft drinks give me the hiccups.

I would like caffeinated beer. That would be wonderful. Hopefully the 2 drugs would reach a kind of stasis, and I'd have something approximating superpowers.

If any one makes home-brew, why not try crushing up some No-Doze in the bottles. Then send me some.

But, then again, perhpas the current world climate is the result of a certain simian world leader being all hopped-up on caffeinated beer.

I like the phrase "hopped up on goofballs", but I don't know what goofballs are. can someone send me some?
