Had a few problems connecting to Barbelith in the last few days, but mainly minor momentary things, anyone else noticed anything odd?

Every so often I am told that my IP address has been blocked. I just log in a bit later and it is all good again. Possibly I share a roaming IP address with a former troll, or possibly it's just a glitch....

I've been on here regularly the last few days, both from work and from home, and haven't had any problems. (Mind you, I probably shouldn't have said that... if you don't hear from me in the next couple of days it's probably Stoatie "whatever you do, don't say at least it's not raining" syndrome.

I couldn't get here a couple of days back. Met with a heap of MySQL errors, then couldn't load the main Underground page at all. Presumed it was just a server problem.

I haven't had problems with logging on, but I have with loading pages. I expect this at university (Telewest is not great), but not when I 'm at home and it's happened both places.

Well once my pathetique internet explorer browser reset my cookies and wouldn't let me appear in the land of shining barbelithe. Then the valiant me took those cookies and keecked the sheet out of them.

Ok - if people are having troubles with the site and are getting error messages, then could you copy the error messsage and post it as a new thread in here - or in an Errors thread - I don't mind. Policy and Help is the forum I check most regularly, so I'll notice it quickly and can get Cal on thecase...

I've been getting those error messages on and off (mostly on) for the last two or three hours.

May be a capacity thing--a server bomb.

Funny stuff. I had problems around the same time as you, Xoc - the board was refusing to show me any threads and certain fora claimed not to have any in them anyway. I thought it might be my profile, so checked out the member list, which told me that I've never started any threads. Yours was the same, as was sleaze's. I see yours has returned to normal now, though.

I'm not sure that things are working quite right yet... last night I got the screen full of MySQL errors & this morning everything is loading verrry slowly. That's probably not too helpful, but that is the case over here.

If the board goes down again, I'll be over at Exit Stage Left talking to the empty space... somebody come by and keep me company, lest I seem insane.

Had a couple of days of tweaky SQL error messages running rampant across my screen. Most are the ones posted by E. but also seen one indicating one of the SQL channels had exceeded maximum users.

I haven't had any trouble logging in, but I'm still seeing posts made on the 27th of Feb as new. In other words, the threads that oughtta be brown are still gold. Mildly discomfiting.
