Curious.

How do you think we got here? Is there a God(s)? What is our purpose? How do we achieve it? Are we just characters in His-story??

Please post your thoughts here.
Thank you.

...abberations, fractal effects, impact on surroundings, evolution, fade away, repeat...

</subject to change>

...still not sure if there's a big container of conditions that were set out or if they just change too...

...and as far as death goes...I'm gonna just hope we're part of more...

the universe exisists as energy. Energy that is in constant motion. Right now some of that energy is juicing your fleshy, watery, bio-sack. Later it'll dissapate and go somewhere else. Some will go to power the waves hitting the beach. Some run through the circuits of a miniature hand held computer. Some will give a colony of ants an extra push to bring sugar and food to it's families. There is no beginning. There is no end. There is only change. How do I know this? "Eternal Flame" by the Bangles just came on the TV. There is no coincidence.

Our purpose, huh.

Well, it's kind of like this. If we have a purpose, it's probably something along the same lines as our computers have a purpose. But if my computer ever gets a desire to not fulfill it's purpose, and would rather pursue something else, I hope she tells me to fuck off (though more curteously, and with two weeks notice).

If there was a purpose I would probably be compeled to defy it. Of course the defiance of this purpose might be my real purpose so...oh shit...
I guess it might be beter not knowing some of this stuff for sure.
If need a guid plan I normaly subscribe to the the one (whatever it is) that says we should all be having copius fun as much as possible. Although this in itself can be hard to do, and takes a lot of dicipline.
(I cant tell if that was supposed to sound ironic or not)

You wake up. Things are blurry and confusing. Consciousness makes order from chaos. The blurry becomes clear. Clarity.

You lose focus. The clear becomes blurry. Consciousness makes chaos from order. Tired, heavy eyes. You fall asleep.

A cycle within a cycle, spiralling through timefluid. I am, I am not, then I am again.

I think God exploded and we are the pieces. Humans have been trying to improve communication since the begining. The internet is God's nervous system, we are allmost back together...

This idea is not my own. I have to credit Scott Adams

In the beginning, there was nothing, and it was quite content to continue to be nothing. Then, there was motion. The nothing was a singularity, it didn't even have dimension. So, the only direction it could go was to produce a duality of itself. And so came to be the Everything.

<BIG>BANG</BIG>

The Motion is time, and the universe continues to expand as it continues to move. On some scales, new things are formed from galaxies crushing and spinning about. On ours, change continues in the endless diversity of our screwed up existances. Fractal expansion.

What does it mean? Dunno, other than something on some cosmic level is moving, and as long as it keeps doing so, my friday nights will continue to be interesting.

"The Shaltanac race of Broop Kidron Thirteen had a similar phrase, but since their planet is somewhat eccentric botanically speaking, the best they could manage was “The other Shaltanic’s joopleberry shrub is always a more mauvy shade of pinky russet”, and so the expression fell into misuse and so the Shaltanics had little option but to become terribly happy and contended with their lot, much to the surprise of everyone else in the Galaxy who had not realized that the best way not to be unhappy is not to have a word for it."
