That was the second point in the two point plan of the White Panthers (the first being to follow the 8 point plan of the Black Panthers) and it seems a bit unrealistic, although it has a nice little ring to it. What I'm getting at: Is it better to aim high when making the world a better place (like the White Panthers or Kathleen Hanna, who's a Utopian Socialist) or go for a more realistic method (like my friend Paul, who's a Democratic Socialist, which isn't exactly clamoring for revolution)? Which do you think is more effective? Which would have more positive results?

It depends on how you define what it is you want to do as being either 'high' or 'realistic'. If you've got a shitload of weapons and a couple of thousand men at your beck and call, then you've got more realistic possibilities than if your one bloke who wants to change the laws on inheritence tax (say) but don't have the first idea what to do.

CK, I think that depends on your individual skills or talents and what you can offer.
