That was the second point in the two point plan of the White Panthers (the first being to follow the 8 point plan of the Black Panthers) and it seems a bit unrealistic, although it has a nice little ring to it. What I'm getting at: Is it better to aim high when making the world a better place (like the White Panthers or Kathleen Hanna, who's a Utopian Socialist) or go for a more realistic method (like my friend Paul, who's a Democratic Socialist, which isn't exactly clamoring for revolution)? Which do you think is more effective? Which would have more positive results? |
