What are you aiming to achieve with this thread, innercircle? You're giving us a lot of information that we're already aware of. Every time we attempt discourse you post another vast excerpt which makes that discourse extremely difficult to follow.
The only logical answer to this can be that you're either an extremely bad communicator, or one who isn't trying to communicate. The first thing a decent spokesperson for spreading understanding and tolerance would do is check what their audience already knows and understands. Common knowledge, once realised, can be built upon.
I can just about accept that your style of communication may be appropriate in some circumstances. It clearly isn't on this board, and the universal reaction to your style would have made any decent communicator vary their methods. Stated plainly: it is your style, not your content that we take issue with. You will not be well received here until you can adapt like everyone else.
And I do not tolerate some of the mindless insults in your posts. I will invite you to edit them out youself. Feel free to keep them if you enjoy spreading misunderstanding and emnity, but that response would seem to run contrary to what you seem to want to achieve with this thread. This dichotomy between your apparent intentions and your methods has been pointed out to you countless times since you started on Barbelith. Only a fool would ignore such universal criticism from such a diverse and forward thinking community.
TELL US SOMETHING WE DON'T KNOW: THAT'S WHAT WE LIKE ON BARBELITH. IN ORDER TO DO THAT YOU MAY HAVE TO SPEND SOME TIME RESEARCHING OLD THREADS AND ASKING US QUESTIONS.
As for relevancy, many threads contain subject matter that could fit into a number of forums, so I've only got minimal issues with the content. I say we keep it for the time being, as this forum only has one of these *high potential for moderator maintenance* threads to babysit. Share the workload! |
