Just got in from eating at a Greek restaurant; and am actually wearing a skirt. So, for me, a little dressed up.
Ahem. Skirt: black (what else) Country Road, ankle-length slinky heavy-weight silky viscose & rayon & a little polyester - doesn't crease at all - which kicks out at the hem on account of V-shaped insets. Shoes: black, strappy Italian leather sandals - flat. Top: Jag, medium soft green, very fine light cotton knit, low-cut v-neck, with elbow length sleeves (ending in wide ribbed band) & 4 small green buttons from the v point to the start of the wide, close fitting ribbed waist band. Undies: cream cotton knickers & Yves St Laurent lace opera bra. Jewellery: flat gold neck chain with smallish 18th century ecclesiastical fob seal (I wear this almost every day, not for religious reasons, but because I like antique jewellery.) The seal, which you barely see, is amethyst glass with an engraving of a lamb & the words 'agnus dei'. Drop earrings - antique gold & green glass intaglios. Wide gold ring, renaissance style, heavily embossed. Longines gold watch. |
