It is excellent, and gruesome. The male rape cliché is, I think, balanced by the interesting things they do, plotwise, with the homoerotic undercurrents.
Shame about the late and erratic scheduling and I really don't like Terry Kinney. And the episode with the ageing drug was just silly. But it has some great acting and the boys are better looking than Jimmy Cagney.
Think evil, tattooed bear started a thread about this show not that long since. Will look for it. |
