Magic without the Magic

Possibly not much of a thread, but I was just wondering if anyone else ever feels like something magical is happening even though you've done nothing to cause it?

Some weird stuff is happening in my life at the moment, I'd like to say I'd done a ritual to make is so but I haven't (at least I can't remember it??)

You think maybe its something subconscious? Do I have a fan somewhere shooting out sigils on my behalf or maybe its just all "coincidence" or maybe its my future self doing sigils in the future to change my present, his past (ideas!)

Maybe it'll all pass and things will go back to normal but at the moment I guess I shouldn't complain and just go with the flow.

If no-one can comment don't worry about it, just want to let it out as it were

A couple of thoughts, Bear.
I personally do perceive of Universe and its processes as magickal. All coincidence is magick, whether someone specifically charged and released a sigil for it or not. In describing the whys and wherefores of existence, semantics are everything. Therefore, the jump from the unmanifest across uncertainty to manifestation is brought about (in my perceptions) by magick. Coincidence, synchronisity and magick are all synonyms in my (admittedly limited) book.
The second thought is that, yes, you could also be doing good stuff for your present self in the future. I lend credence to this interpretation because it made me realize that I myself was just today warned of an upcoming trial period that a future self [is experiencing].
(Evidently, it sucks to be me next summer. Forewarned is forearmed, however. Bring it.)

I second the view that the Universe is magickal in and of itself.

On a different note: Let's see. You're here, so I'm guessing you have at least a passing interest in The Invisibles. You hang out regularly in the Magick forum, read peoples' posts carefully, and comment intelligently when you have something to say. Might I suggest that you're open to the idea of magick to the extent that you perceive&allow it to happen around you?

This is a very good start to gaining skills you may claim you currently don't have...

Didn't quite make the connection with the hypersigil thread, but that last comment really hit home.

Yes. Way back I realised there was a far more experienced future version of me. The Ideal. So I made a bindrune to represent that being, a target to aim for... a little future-tense back-up. I would focus on the sigil/glyph and aks for guidance, strength, whatever pressed me to [cautiously] tax my future self.

Just recently, I sent backward for the first time. Maybe you'll just see it as an egotrip but, compared to then, I am closer to the ideal. The dark times I reached out in are passed... I send confirmation that it will end.
