In this attractive 4 bedroom house (with garden, shed and basement) you will be sharing with myself, Mr Edward Fortune and a friend of ours called Foxy.
The house is in a quiet residential road 15 minutes walk away from Stratford station (zone 3) on the Central Line, Jubilee Line and DLR about 45 minutes from central London.
The room up for grabs is a single upstairs furnished room, we have a small lounge and a big kitchen as well as a bathroom with a power shower.

Sounds cool, but Stratford is only in north London if you consider everything above the river to be north, as you might do if you were a saaf Londoner.

It's east! And I reckon you can be in central London quicker than 45 mins. Looks like a good deal to me.

Ah yes I'll fess up to being a Saaarf Londoner, East London it is then.
The 45 minutes is the time from Westminster to Stratford on the Jubliee line, don't know how long it is on the Central Line, might be less.
Oh and Ariadne, I'm not properly moved it yet but PM me where you are, I'd love to pop over for tea

The Central line from Stratford rocks! You can be in Notting Hill in just over half-an-hour once you're on it. If you've a mind to.

Jubilee line is good though because it runs quite late. If you miis the last Central and can get to London Bridge by about 0045 (e.g. via the N. line from the West End), you can still get home with recourse to night buses.

As you can probably tell, I live just up the road as well. Welcome to the 'hood!

On a related point a big landmark round that way is a great big green laser beam that goes straight over stratford past Canary Wharf. Seems to come from south of the river just to the west of the Blackwall Tunnel, anyone know who's laser it is and what its for? A guess would be the meridian but I don't know if its in the right place for that.
