Ninjas and pirates fancy-dress

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK

Anyone in London or thereabouts interested in a ninjas/pirates fancy dress party next week (30th Nov)? I'm getting older so I've decided to do something really dumb and childish.

It's be at my house in Stoke Newington- pm me for details if you're up for it cos I ain't gonna post my address up here for all the world to see (they're after me, y'know.)

Fancy dress isn't compulsory, but it's strongly recommended on the grounds that it'll be FUN.

Pirates bring rum, ninjas bring sake. Or whatever.

bearing in mind the immense distance between our two addresses, it'd be rude not too, really.

Hmmmmm. Could be persuaded.

Hmm... if I came as a Ninja, no one would notice me at all... my presence would only be inferred, via a trail of silent death. So I shall come as a pirate. Of some kind.

Damn - I'd love to come, but have to go to a party in Brighton, Happy birthday, hope it's fun.

Sounds like a full-scale chuckle. Can I come as ninja, disguised as a pirate who is going under cover as a Sahf Lahndoner to spy on the ninjas? If so does that mean I should bring Absinthe or Sangria?

that

I would like to come, but puppy duty (10 week old Border Terrier) makes it impossible. I would also have come as a ninja disguised as a pirate though. Pirate wench, that is...

Happy birthday though, Stoatie - hope you have a great party!

hmm. might well be in london, but refuse absolutely to participate in this ninja/pirate nonsense. (not massively aware of a Long John Bagpuss in the canon either, stoatie!)

Geeks. the lot of you. GEEKS.

Would very much like to come, but as my own form of nonsense instead, 'kay?

I might shame you all with immaculate formal dress, how's dat?

Now, I've a big thing in Brighton the night before so I may still be a bit messy and way beyond wearing a pirate costume (for that is what I am), but I'm a sucker for a house party.

My head hurts now. But I do have loads of rum left over. And there were far more pirates than ninjas.

Maybe you just couldn't see the ninja's due to their stealthy skills Glad you had a nice good night though...

sorry, kid. I had flu. I bet the pirate costumes weren't as good as last year -- there were more pirates than ninjas then, too!

If I hadn't trained myself in the art of emotionlessness, I would be proud that my hard-won Ninja skills allowed me to circulate at the party quite unnoticed. Um, in all seriousness, sorry folks, I had a major workload to deal with so there went my friday night. I hope it was a good one though, and somehow, knowing the Stoat as I do, I suspect it will have been. ;-)

Well, I was suffering in a piratical, sympathetic style. I was drunk as fuck on the other side of the world. I'm keepin' the swashbuckling dream alive for when you bastards all come and visit...

Well, as I told Mao, I was there as a ninja for the first hour or so....but nobody saw me.

I changed into my regular clothes and had a blast. Indeed the pirates outnumbered the ninjas, but we got our revenge. I took control of the music and played ninja music all night (Wu-Tang mostly). Those damned pirates were too full of rum and delerious with scurvy to even notice :-)
