| Ummm. The cooler hostels tend to be in little places - the city ones can be a bit big and busy. Central backpackers down by Fort Street seems okay, and has a good bar on the roof. And there's one in Mount Eden, behind the ASB bank, that always looked good. Oh, and the one looking over the Domain seemed a bit of a party house. I was living there permanently, in a flat, so haven't tried the hostels. |
