So this rocks pretty hard. The first series never got going for me, but this one's nice 'n twisty already and we've only had one issue. Excellent dynamics set up right from the word go, and a real sense of momentum.

Don't want to drop any spoilers (yet) but has anyone else picked this up?

Yes, and I thought it was ace. A nice surprise? I had't heard there was going to be a sequel. Kieth has been dealing with interesting issues the past couple years, I hope he keeps it up.

Hell I'm always up for more of keith's work (well except his recent wolverine-hulk thing) Agai he is returning to some of the themes he was developing at the end of the maxx- no bad thing at all.

I just got a used copy of this book, read it in an evening and cried at the end. All the savage ferocity of sixteen year old love came rushing back to me and I was embarrassed and my head spun.

Is the second book any good? I've been watching the Maxx animated series with my s/o and I think I'm developing a bit of a crush on Sam Kieth...

Zero girl was ok, well, a lot better than ok but I prefered Four Women. Its a very different story and only really comparable because it comes from Sam Keith, but yeah - it's good.
