Does anyone have floor space in NY over that period? No way will I (we) be able to get back home the same night. Either that, or how much do hotels/motels cost?

I'm free all that week, so I can make it for the 3rd. Kittie won't be able to, but she can maybe make it for the 4th. I've not been to New York before so I wouldn't mind seeing a bit of the place.

Fridge, I don't know anything about hotels in NYC, but if you want to save some money on the train, take a Septa train to Trenton and NJ-Transit to NYC. It's about a 1/4 of the price of Amtrack (and only a little bit slower).

I've got to admit, I did show up, Lionheart -- I think you and your brother even noticed me for a second....but my 31-year old self saw all these 16 year olds (man, the place was packed with 2600 people!) and thought I might be a bit out of place, so I walked away.
