Yes, "book". It's Latin. Pronounced, approximately, "leeb-AIR", with a glam little roll of the "r" at the end, but that pronuncuation seems to coexist these days with "LEE-buh".
There's a question here about the use of different languages in magick, but it is too early to phrase coherently. Somebody remind me later. |
