| ...or February, or any time when it's cheap. My lovely and talented cohabitant has been plumping for an early 2003 trip to Rome, after she found a great Lufhansa supersaver fare+package deal. This has the advantage of coming up right after I get a bonus (market-willing) and a fresh battery of vacation days to use (and use before a planned job switch sometime before 2q02), but I'm a little afraid we'd be miserable in the winter there, or that attractions wouldn't be best seen, etc. Has anyone been there in the off-season? Is it worth going in January or February? Wouldja do it? |
