THE FILTH #7

The Libertania— an experimental utopian ocean-going community. A mega-liner with a population of 100,000, its own government and its own army. A floating city of tomorrow for people who want to escape the rat race of dry land life. What happens when the Libertania declares war on the world? And what happens when Ned Slade and the officers of The Hand arrive on the scene too late to prevent the President of the USA from being given 34DD breast implants?

The FILTH #8
As the madness of Spartacus Hughes runs rampant on the gargantuan city-ship Libertania, can the officers of the Hand persuade amnesiac agent Ned Slade to save the day when he's just been arrested on suspicion of child murder? And can Tony the cat withstand another attempt on his life? All this and more as the plot thickens!

Suspicion of child murder, eh? You heard it here first!

And Spartacus Hughes is back—apparently as a meme or a para-personality ("Anyone can be Spartacus Hughes!"). Again, you heard it here first.

Interesting - especially the stuff about the Libertina - an idea based on a megaliner whose plans were announce a couple of years ago - called Freedom the idea was that it could be the ultimate live-in casino cum tax-haven that could endlessly sail the seas outside of all countries national borders- thus avoiding having to pay *anyone* betting tax...

Could the madness of Spartacus Hughes be the "idiotisation" wrought by I-life in #2? I know he didn't actually contract it, but he did unleash it, so it is kinda "of" him.

Perhaps reappearance as a meme or whatever is more likely but I did dig the early 90s techno morons - imagine a whole boatload of the fuckers! Dribbling and windowlicking while Sequinned Sandra sings "Memories"! Would anyone know the difference?
