I thought the point was to be a sort of handy "who's who" guide, so that newcomers can realize that if Poster X is abrasive, that's just hir way, whereas if Poster Y is abrasive, that means you've probably crossed a line that a lot of other people are going to agree is better not crossed... Or - though this might be against the spirit of the 'Lith - that you might not want to get into an argument about the Evil Mental Health Industry (TM) with Ganesh without realizing that he might know more about it than you (depending on who you are, of course). Or slag off Blake's 7/ imply that marriage is a valid lifestyle choice in my presence  .
Great idea, Nick, but I'm too much of a barbelightweight to contribute much (I think Haus, to pick an example of a much meta'd suit, is quite pernickety: but I almost never go into the Spectacle, so for all I know he might not be pernickety except in the Head Shop.) |
