Myself and the Rt Hon Pacha are setting out this weekend for some psilocybin-related buffoonery, possibly in Kent or Hampshire- locations still being worked out (currently scanning the UK mushroom map web site as we speak- didn't have all that in my day etc).

If anyone's interested in toddling along- you'd be most welcome. The picking and preparing of the bloody things can be a bit of a headache- and that would likely be a daytime activity. Our plan would then be to drop em in the evening - which would have to be a camping based activity.
Anyway, more info and plans to follow in this thread if anyone's interested

It will be a good walk in the fields as well as shroom hunting, and the main intent is to have fun - it's an adventure (my first hunt, yay!).

Waaaah, I too can't make this weekend (Samhain parties being the primary problem, am in the process of starting a thread on it). Good luck though, I'd definately be up for a trip out of London some other time.

Cheers for the offer Pacha but i know what i'm like full of shrooms and going primal...best not risk it and the worrying about it would not be a good start to a good trip.... next time definatly though...

looks like we're goin ahead with this weekend anyway- more in the spirit of an eerie, rural, Straw Dogs-style weekend away, kind of thing. Will report back with our findings if we get shrooms. Then if peeps wanna do something on the 26th, we might have a better notion of places to go..."if you find them, they will come". It's been pissing it down this week so should be fine. Even places like Hampstead Heath should be worth a look- haven't had a chance to look anywhere as yet.
