Can anyone recommend me a good phone call recorder freeware that comes without spywares and works with IDSL modems? I need to do some interviews from home and can't find any good one. Thanks in advance.

This may be of some use to you, although I really couldn't say whether it would run with IDSL. Surely though, if the subject is being interviewed, they'd be happy for you to write down their answers before proceeding to the next question???

What about a contact mic? One of those suction things? You're using a handset, or not? If not, I wonder if you could just record to tape or minisisc with a regular mic - that is, if you're using some kinda comms software, you'd have the conversation on speaker, right?
