Well, I've spent several weeks in Baltimore already, so it's not that new to be here. I'm moving to Philadelphia soon, though, which will probably be rather scary since I won't have local guides and I'll be starting work at the same time. At the moment it's sort of phase one.
I'd say that there was a lot of immediate stress which is gradually receding with judicious application of quality relationship time. Actually, a lot of it is probably jetlag. I could murder a beer right now and it's only twenty to three.
In the fridge, there is a frankfurter with cheese in it. But not just cheese. Oh no. It has Real Kraft™ Cheese in it. Is this a subset of Real Cheese, or do they not intersect? On the other hand, if I cross the road to go to the gas station, I can get any one of five different types of filter coffee in huge quantities, as opposed to the miserable paper cup of Nescafe you get from UK service stations. It's swings and roundabouts, really. |
