What, just on the inside of the door? So you're watching yourself...um...do your buisness?

This is perhaps the most amusing thread I've read on any message board anywhere in months.

I'm with tower on this, what a hilarious thread!

Why's everyone getting so passionate about this? Regardless of whether it's right or wrong to use the disabled stall, the chances are he's the only one who would be using it anyway. Disabled toilets are so infrequently used (by comparison) that he's probably not going to make anyone wait anyway.
Besides, in my experience, people in wheelchairs are capable of 'holding on' for another minute or 2, let's give them a bit of credit, eh?

Um, I think the difference here is that some of us want to regard whether it's right or wrong.

I can't speak for the disabled, but if you're saying they'll gladly hang on longer just because Johnny O needlessly fancies extra room (a requirement for them), it's difficult not to imagine you're kidding yourself.

In all honesty, I would be royally pissed if I were handicapped and had to wait because some jerk with two perfectly functioning legs were using it just because he liked the space. Fortunately, as I noted earlier, I have never, not even once, seen anyone other than myself using a handicapped stall, so I doubt this will ever be a problem.

Look, just use that stall until the first time a handicapped person catches you on the way out.

D - I'm not saying that at all, I just don't think they would resort to name calling as has happened on their behalf earlier in this thread. I wouldn't, but that could just be the stuffy Brit in me speaking.. Personally, I don't think Johnny should use the stall on ethical grounds but nor do I think it's ever likely to cause a major problem. I was just surprised by the ferocity of some of the replies is all.

Apple - you're quite right, the whole point of this is to spark discussion. A bad choice of words on my part and for that, I apologise.
