Can I just point out that we have new posters and that they pretty much rock like a seesaw factory in an Earthquake? They know stuff and they have viewpoints and they are a rich, fertile sea of cool.

Yay!

And can I point out that "rocking like a seesaw factory in an earthquake" is the greatest simile I've heard today?

And yeah, the new kids kick ass. We need to hear more from them.

Yeah, I'd noticed that we've aquired some pretty spiffy new bugs. Here's hoping we can hang on to them.

I tend to find new posters kind of hard to stick to the wall unless you roll them backwards first... and use lots of blu-tac.

But put little pieces of plastic tape on the poster, under the blu-tac. Keeps the sticky stuff from bleeding through.

I prefer "rocks more than a fight between Alcatraz and Haley's Comet". But that's reserved for the very pinnicle of rocking-ness.

I think y'all should quit being coy and name names.

On past experience, no, we shouldn't. That way madness lies. Accusations of eliteism and cliquishness get bandied around. Phrases such as "high-school mentality" and "head cheerleader" creep into the conversation. You really, really don't want that.

Yeah, but petmepetmepetmeeee!

No, I'm kidding. I'll pet myself.

Ahem.

Very nice. They both knock "giggling like a japanese schoolgirl" off the top, which held #1 for a while until I saw the seesaw bit.

I can't remember who said it or in what thread, but I read the phrase "rules like a plantagenet badger" earlier on and just about died laughing.
