Well thanks to every one who suggested stuff, I have scribbled it all down, the long bit being to try and find and hear it all.
The first night went really well, far more people turned up than I accepted and a great cross section...just what I intended. The chorus line went down a treat judging by the reaction of the crowd and the dancing that followed. Bring on that Glamour and wildness!
The night is called Audacity, (once a month...sort of), my over all vision for the night is not just to create another club night with a certain type of music but something that is an eclectic event with a unique identity that people can begin to invest in and become the night itself. I would like it to be a place where people can be expressive, wether thats in dressing, dancing or enjoying the scene.
One of the ways that I hope to do this is by using *swing and big band to jump off into other stuff with that same kind of same energy, old dance hall passionate feel; like punk, blow up go go, big beat. (this may change).

*Partly because it's got no real subcluture of its own here is the UK and so can be owned by anybody.
Although this is a bit far featched I would love it also to become a focus for creative people, thinkers, clubbers, designers, movers and shakers, to make natural connections that they might not other wise make. And to be a dam good night out!
Anyway I am getting WAY ahead of myself and I dreaming, I don't even know if I can pull of the next one!
