Just a quick post: wondering if anyone else here has signed up to the All Consuming project? It's ostensibly a bit of a geeky blogger tool - it inserts pictures of whast you're reading and quotes you enter onto your webpage - but is a kinda interesting way of keeping track of what you've read, and who else out there might be reading the same things as you.

I haven't got it up and running on my page yet, but I've started putting stuff on there to cover the period of been back here. View here.

Anyway. I just thought it was cool. Sign up!

I'm signed up for it, and although I'm not displaying it on plasticbag.org (yet) I've even put in a few reviews. i think it's a really interesting idea, and it's tempting to set up a communcal version of it on the site somehow..

Yes, it would be more user-friendly that the sprawling mess which is 'what are you currently reading?' - though I do like the minor digressions we get in that one and I'm not sure all-consuming will let us do that.

It allows you to put in different comments on books at different points, also; so if you're on page 23 of something, you can give one comment - and later, on, say at page 763, you can say something else; it shows the way the reading affects you, I guess.
