I’m trying to learn a language at them moment. I’ve got a CD, and I’ve been picking a track and listening to it repeatedly. I mainly do this on the way to work, but I’ve tried doing it at night. I found it helpful, but not spectacular.
I’m not sure it did much when I was in deep sleep, but when I was drifting off / dozing, I’d find the phrases running though my mind – which is what I’m trying to achieve. I stopped though, because I kept leaping out of bed in the middle of the night thinking there was someone else in the room...
If you’re trying this, I think it’s more effective to set one or two tracks on repeat, so you mind can get a grasp on them.

Yah, I tried it last night, I have a self help type seminar cd that is supposed to help you learn to learn better. I was hoping to wake up with photographic memory but no dice. BTW, Wheaty-G, What language are u trying to learn?
