HunterWolf just made me remember. Back in time, when I was going to sleep, I used to sort of send "telepathic" messages amidst my random self-chat thoughts, with no particular effort of concentration or praying, but, at least I would make clear the start and the end of the message, composing the "text" a little bit before, and then formulating it sort of telegraphically, so it sounded in my mind while lying in the bed like this:
"This is a telepathic message to [xxx]. I would like to know about [yyy], please meet me in dreams tonight, I repeat: tonight, to tell me about [yyy], or otherwise send me straight to a dream about [yyy]. This is the end of the message."
and then back to the routinary pre-sleep bla-bla-bla until I got to zzz-zzz-zzz. Sometimes I would add before sending it "Please go to silence in all channels, important message is about to be sent, please go to silence", in order to stop the inner chat that precedes sleep.
Pretty basic stuff, but I rememeber my dream pattern changed quite impressively the nights I did it, especially the night I sent a message to "all entities that have worked by my side and had been mutually enriched by doing so", and that's what HunterWolf made me remember. I guess a study could be developed from this, like those books by Patricia Garfield, if you carefully study and record your dreams, but that wasn't my job at the time, and I don't run a dream diary. Try it if it suits you. |
