So it looks like the current pull and tug between Israel and the Palestinians is creating a need for the US to choose sides, not like it wasn't gonna end up this way, anyway. Looks like all bodes "well" for one group. Uh...
I think you will find, with a little historical research, that the US actually chose sides some decades ago, and they distinctly did not choose Palestine. This link might be helpful, if you scroll down to the 'US Involvement' section.
