Right so is it fair to say that the details are as follows:

Jorene Celeste
Kentish Town
Saturday 21st September 2002
Autumnal Equinox
6.00pm until we all fall down
To bid a sad, yet joyful, farewell to Mordant and Lurid

All those in favour say Yay! [not necessarily literally]

pointless and uncalled for
19:10 / 18.09.02
I'll see if I can make it. I will be in town but cannot be hung over for Sunday as will be trying to photograph the whole CA/UA deal and can't shoot for shit if I'm in recovery.

Regrettable Juvenilia
19:11 / 18.09.02
I'm going to try to make it - it'll be later if I do, as there's somewhere else I said I'd be beforehand - but listen, if I don't, then please understand that I wanted to, and have been foiled only by circumstance. Circumstance and beer.

You will visit, won't you?

All being well I'll have cash by then (I'm expecting some in the next 48 hrs.). If so, then I'm SO there I can almost read the classic toilet graffiti right now!

May also have floor/sofaspace. Depends whether a) I make it there, and b)- well, there's just a) really.

I'm up for arriving earlier if anyone feels like it. I'll be in London for the day.

I have to try to stay relatively sobre for the same reasons, pretty much.

Cherry Bomb

I'm planning on going, however I have to go Manchester for a funeral (long story) and it looks like I won't be back 'til mid-afternoon on Saturday.

Just so's you know.

..and Barbelith London doesn't sound up to the usual boozing-to-make-Jim-Morrison-scared indulgence levels that we've come to know and love. Still, I'm sure it'll be a different matter on the day
Anyway, I'll be along - maybe even join you guys early

I plan to arrive in London at around 1pm, and do some shopping. Dunno what time I'll make it to the pub, but you're welcome to my mobile number if you PM me.

I'd dearly love to come, but have to nick off back home this weekend. I only met the both of you about five minutes ago, and now you're leaving. Boo!

I'd like to come and say hello, I'm just not sure if I can yet. I haven't met anyone (except stoatie) but I thought I should come meet you before you leave for Eire, as I hear you have good dress sense!

Oh the pressure! I can't take it.

But I do hope to see lots of you tomorrow. Not sure what time we'll make it to the pub. Early probably. And here I must agree with Mordant that six really is early. But we might stroll along earlier.

The Return Of Rothkoid
06:48 / 21.09.02
Once more, I wish I could be there to say bye in person. Best of luck with everything, and here's hoping you drink terrifying amounts this eve.

I should hope someone there will take up my usual habits of drinking Newcie Brown, giggling at the "raison d'etre" graffiti and freaking out over the bathroom-guarding torsos for me.

Shortfatdyke
07:13 / 21.09.02
Sigh. Alright, I'll do the Newcie Brown bit. Just for you, Rothkoid.

Don't worry- graffiti-sniggering and torso-freakoutery will be taken care of. I'm kind of looking forward to both.

I won't be around to say bye in person, because I'm still at fucking home. So have a great night folks, safe journey, and enjoy Ireland. I rather liked it when I was there, albeit briefly.

Think I might well not make it now, really sorry guys, would love to see you off. Massively fluey, think my body's finally worked out that the only way to stop me doing stuff is to pack up completely. Grrrrr.

Take care and have a wonderful time.

That was cool- still sad to see you guys go, but a good send-off nonetheless. Met a whole bunch of new people and a whole bunch of old faces. All in all, a very good night. And the graffiti's still there! Rock!

That was cool - nice to meet everyone at last and to say goodbye to you two. Apologies to anyone I talked utter cock to - can't really recall the last hour too well. Sign of a good night!

There was no cock talked by anyone. But there was one very involving discussion of sweat.

Really enjoyed myself last night. Just a shame that I was feeling a bit rough at the end. Next time better pacing is in order.

Hey people! It sounds like ya'll had a good time.

Sorry I couldn't make it. I was truely exhauseted and not feeling well when I decided that I really should make the effort and come and say fare thee well. So I turn up to the overland train station from which it is a really quick jump (half an hour door to door) to get to Kentish town. But of course the trains weren't running! Bah! The journey for me would have been an hour each way and I just couldn't get the energy up for that. I'm so sorry.

I hope you have a safe journey and many good luck a-happenings whilst you settle in. And we'll just have to come and visit you over there, and drink the guinness goodness of course. Only in tourist stylee of course -

Much love and best wishes to you both. And sorry for being crap!

xx oo xx

I'd just like to reassure anyone that couldn't make it that I more than made up for your share of alcohol. I now have a cold but I guess that's what I get for cycling around London with no jacket.

Good Luck to Mordant and Lurid though!

Ummm... I hope that's not my cold you've caught, Bear. If it is, I'm truly sorry.

I knew I shouldn't have snogged you but I couldn't resist the hair!

Nah like I said I think it was a combination of the thinned blood and the no jacket.

I am suitable impressed by the level of cool achieved by all attending folk that I met. You are truly deserving of the word Zoiks

The awesomeness of all coupled with my friends remark about me having the most boring hair in the place has left me with a nasty inferiority complex that will only be remedied when I get a Rayograph portrait of Stoatie tatooed on my kneecap.

Wish deeply that I could have hung out even further with all.

Can anyone spare a dollar?
