...it looks like myself and Mordant are leaving the country. We are going to Ireland. Cork to be exact. I'd really like to meet up with the London lithers before I leave, but I'm not sure I'll have time. Ach. I'm sure I can fit something in, and its not that Cork is really that far anyway. But I should go to the Gathering with that.

Aw, crap.

But still - Cork! How exciting is that?

When are you off then? You will both be sorely missed...

Well, the job starts at the end of the month but I'm thinking of going there on Monday to get a flat sorted and to make sure I know what they want me to do. I'm sure I'll come back before then, but I'm still trying to work out the logistics of evrything.

They have a great soul and disco festival in Cork every summer - it'll be right up your collective alley!

Good for you but I am beginning to be suspicious that everybody is moving out of London just as I relocate there. But I guess a mathematician's got to do etc. *sniff*

Give my love to Colin Farrell.

It is odd, Zocher. But I'm sure you'll see us every now and again. My friend from Cork seems to visit London every couple of months, or so.

BTW, Zocher, when are you going to get to London?

Congratulations! I know nothng about Cork, but I'm sure it'll be cool.

Bloody hell, everyone's buggering off. I'll be sitting in the Pillars of Hercules all on my own-some soon.

Good luck folks but remember Cork is a weird place. They eat their young down there. And not much of a fetish scene either.

30 quid! That's ridiculously cheap, it's about £27 from Cardiff, they're ripping me off so badly!

Good luck, you two. I've been to Cork once, very nice. And you can get a pint at about 8 in the morning down on the docks. Which was a bit scary for a lone Englishman in a black suit (I'd flown over for a funeral) but lots of fun.

Barry, explain me how you were in me for 3 hours, as i don't remember ?

seriously, MC & L, enjoy. I loved my trips to Ireland and Cork is pretty cool, even if yes, it will not be this easy to come back that often i suppose. take care of this stupid sheeps while there, they're on the middle of the road, in your garden, everywhere. look in your bed before going to sleep. there's probably a couple of some into it.

Seems to be ageneral moving trend at the moment - is it that time of year or something? Been involved in 2 housemoves in the last 48 hours, now a virtual one. Virtual for me anyway, as I 've not met the people concerned..in fact I've never met any of you...

How do I know that all of Barbelith isn't just one hyper-intelligent 12 year old kid in Motherwell?

Well a hearty 'be seeing you' and a firm handshake is in order. Cork is by all accounts a great place and I'm sure you guys brand of darkly-clad unaffectedness will be a winner

Yes. You are a Big Ray Of Sunshine.

MC, LA - are you going for keeps, or is it a temporary thing?

Ah, now I know what's going on. Bit of a shock to read the thread in the Gathering without having come here first. As always with these things, I feel a general and very selfish pissed-offness that people I would like to have got to know better are going, but pleased that you're moving on to something/some place you want to be.

There's so many folks leaving London - Zocher and Potus had better get here soon to balance things a little....

This just in: We've got a flat. It's a bit on the cosy side, but it's cheap and central.

Seriously, m'boy only went out there this morning-- and by this arvo he's found some digs. Well done, that lackey!

Congratufuckinglations! I mean, it'd be a bit crap if you DIDN'T have anywhere to live, what with moving there and all...
We shall expect pictures... (shit, when did I start talking like Queen Victoria?)
