Not for what you actually have, but just for what you've convinced yourself that you might have, with little or no grounding in reality.

Currently, I've convinced myself that I have either West Nile or Lyme disease (again). Maybe both. My basis for this? Enh, no real solid one. Just a sneaking suspicion. Oh, and thanks to Flyboy (in the Barbeinterview Thread I now think Candida might also be a possibility.

I once spent an eight-hour coach journey somehow convinced I had Ebola... I was bricking it thinking not only was I gonna die horribly but I was killing a whole bus full of people too, but felt too embarrassed to say anything.

Turns out it was just flu.

I've had a few headaches this weekend just gone and am starting to wonder whether I've got a brain tumor or some such...

It will have nothing to do with the incredible amount of time I spent in front of my computer monitor in low light I'm certain.

I've had an unusual amount of gas the last couple months, and constant toothaches & I even broke a tooth eating a bagel. I'm pretty sure it's a cancerous tumor in my bowel or my nasal cavity or both, probably from sitting in front of the ancient microwave at work -- where I've just been laid off.

I got a bastard of a molar making his presence known. Since I don't quite have dental coverage yet, I'm doing what I can to keep the area squeaky clean. Was thinking after enough time I'd be getting a brain infection as it works its way up my sinuses. Oh..this morning started with a nosebleed and I never really get them...

My wisdom teeth are pressing. Either that, or I'm grinding them from worry. Any way it happens, I'm convinced that they'll burrow into that nice plug of nerves in my jaw and I'll drop to the ground, twitching and fucking dead.

I sporadically get full-chest cramps, and I always think I'm having a heart-attack. Maybe I am. Wouldn't that be comical?

I used to walk past this poster every morning which said something along the lines of "Headaches? Always Thirsty? Tired all the time? Blah blah blah British Diabetes Foundation." Diabetes? That'll be it. Nothing to do with the previous night's tsunami of booze.

Oooh! Something I have experience in!

Right now, I clearly have a serious alcohol addiction, as while giving up fags I find myself drinking more than usual. Oh, and an eating disorder as I am eating more than usual. Both of those entirely inexplicable. Combine them with lung cancer (shooting pains in the chest at mysterious times), emphysema (difficulty breathing after walking up hills), that strange cancer that you can get from persistent reflux, undiagnosed epilepsy (I've had one fit, who knows when the next one will come? i feel a bit dizzy), low or high blood pressure (one of the two, depends), a throat tumour (trouble swallowing)... well, anything, really, the more I work in "healthcare" the worse it gets.

Well, I just went to the doctor's today and got bloodwork done to find out if I do in fact have lyme. Today, another two people in Connecticut got diagnosed with West Nile, and they say that hundreds of people may have it and not know. The hell I don't know...
