And I'm here to say that if your first post is spam, then we are probably all just going to think you're a twart.

And that you failed to put in a topic abstract. You twart.

Welcome back.

I couldn't resist. Look what I found:

Or how about...
An e-mail campaign... if you can send an e-mail to your closest friends and, better still, hundreds of strangers, directing them to this site and urging them to join up, you will probably go to heaven. Why not copy this sample text and send it to your pals right this very
minute:

Hello pal. It's me. Your friend.
I'd like to tell you about this wonderful thing called Join Me. I've joined it, and now I can't imagine what life was like without it! Probably quite drab and dreary, I'll bet.
Why don't you Join too? Aw, go on. Do it for me. We're pals. Friends. Mates. It's the kind of thing we do for each other.
And you'd really be helping out the person who wants you to Join Them, while also Joining Me. What could be better? There might even be a prize in it for you.
Have a gander at http://www.join-me.co.uk -- I'll see you there.
Bye!

No, I've got a better idea. Why don't you fuck off. www.fuck-off.co.uk.

Odd. www.fuck-off.co.uk actually points to a couple of web design gimps. They can www.fuck-off.co.uk too.

Actually, I've just read the book that Wallace wrote off the back of this peculiar wee venture... Really rather lovely. Like Dave Gorman's stuff (funnily enough, considering they're best mates and collaborated on the first Gorman book), you're never entirely sure how much of the true story was slightly embellished for the book to make it wittier, but still - spankingly good commute-read. And he genuinely lost his girlfriend over it, the silly sod.
