I lurked around here for maybe two or three years before actually joning, and there's a lot of basic start-off points right here hidden in all these posts. Do a search for "Useful techniques for the Well-Rounded Sorceror" or "How do I meditate?" and such. and those are just the ones I can remember off the top of my head. There's is some gold hidden on this board if you're patient enough to pan for it. Plus a lot of great threads on reading lists. Good luck.

yeah oZ look around the magick forum . you'll find lots of interesting stuff for beginners. i guess this is another reason why a FAQ would be a good thing. oh, and welcome! this is a great place
