Hi. I've struggled alot recently, and I've been tempted numerous times to ask for good vibes to see me through, but it always seemed so frivolous. Excuse me for asking for some now.

My puppy is going to the vet's today to be put to sleep. She's had a long life filled with love so there's no point in prolonging any suffering. She's a dog of little brain, so she doesn't understand why she's in pain, and she's scared. We've been expecting this for a couple years now, but I always imagined she would die peacefully and happily at home, not at the vet's. She's going to be really afraid, and all I want is for her to leave us without fear. I've never wanted for love while she's been in my life. If you could send her some vibes to let her know she doesn't need to be afraid today, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Oh shit, Moriarty, I'm really sorry to hear that.

I've never been in that position so I don't know much about how it's done or how to cope. But be brave, and just give her as much love as you can as she goes.

love to you both

If ever there was a better reason to ask for good vibes, I have yet to hear it. And yeah, I'm terribly sorry to hear that.

Peace to you both.

Aw, Moriarty, man, stuff like this stinks. Make sure you're brave (ish) for her when you're there, so she gets good vibes to the end.

I'm so sorry, I get this shot of fear through my stomach whenever I think of my cat dying, the worst is the thought of the pain that they might feel. If only we spoke and they understood. I hope she'll be calm and I hope that you'll be OK.

Yeah, as everyone has said - a sad situation. I'm so sorry. Good vibes to both of you - you'll need to be strong for your puppy (what's her name?) and then you'll need some good wishes for yourself.

Oh, man. Make sure she knows you're there for here, hold her lil paws all the time. Shit... my sympathies.

This thread made me cry earlier and I just couldn't post.

You know you are doing the right thing, because putting it off will make it worse.

Huge hugs and peace to you

Her name is Fergie. We didn't name her, so stop snickering.

The two people who loved her most got to hold her and kiss her and tell her she was a good puppy when she went. She was very brave. The bravest I've ever seen her. Thank you.

I was just thinking the other day about how my cat is no longer a pet but rather a friend that happens to be another species. My sympathies to you and your friend.

Lucky and happy dog to have been loved so much and so well looked after, even at the end, moriarty. All my dogs and cats are still with me, in some way or other.

At least you were there. That's good.
I've been through it several times, and it's not easy.
So best wishes.

I gotta stop reading this thread at work, hard to explain the little tear.

I don't know if you practice magick, but there are loads of things you can do to contact your friend after they're gone. My dog died just before Christmas last year - yeah, I know - and I've managed to play with her a couple of times since then.

In any case, all my good thoughts for you and everyone who loved her.

I think the one thing that helps anyone, be they human or animal, to make
a fearless transition from this life to whatever, is that one doesn`t do it alone.
You were good to your doggie to be with her and now she is past pain.
All best to you. Perhaps its time to go to the dog`s home and find someone
else who doesn`t want to be alone.
