My Dad's been out of work for over a year. It's been particularly hard because he worked hard and did a good job for the same company since 1979, then they canned him 18 months before he was elligible to collect retirement. He's had a very rough time, first dealing with this major ego blow, then trying to find a job when most employers would rather hire a 35-year old over a 53-year old.
Anyway, apparently he just had a really fantastic interview that looks very promising. It all sounds great, and it just would be really great if my poor Dad would just finally get another job. So I'm just asking anyone who'd like to contribute to send positive vibes and all that good stuff in mi Papito's direction.
