Yea! I went to a Rob Zombie Show in April and they showed clips of the movie, it looks amazing. It's like a return to the 70's. When movies were actually scary and suspenseful. Not just blood blood blood.

From what I've read, North America will get the R-rated in theatres. Some international releases will be the unrated, but there's been no specification as to which countries...

But the DVD release should be available unrated everywhere...

>>>The film was originally slated for release in summer 2001 via Universal, but studio executives were so horrified after viewing a rough cut<<<

Which, one would think, would be precisely the desired response for a HORROR FILM....

Hollywood logic baffles me at times.

Cant find another link to it and I know to you americans it is old news but its just been released over here and I've just finished seeing it in the last half hour and I thought it was fantastic. Really good fun. The kind of film you'd expect if the Bannana Splits remade The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Very funny and twisted. Lots of cheesy jokes and great clips of old movies : munsters, creature from the black lagoon etc. Really nice seventies feel to it as well. loads of great oddball characters. The clown at the begining and the museum is worth the price of admission alone...just godamn great...the best 'feel good' movie i've seen this year.

Soryy this post is a bit of a mess but like I say I've just seen the filme, its late ( 1:39am ) and I'm pretty buzzed. Rock on.

Soundtracks pretty smart too!!!
