tech-step isn't really a sub-genre of two-step. technically it's a sub-genre of jungle/drum n bass, but i don't even want to get started on the mess of the genres there, especially since the dividing lines between a lot of them are basically meaningless. wookie has some good two-step tunes, but no other names come to mind right now.
as far as house goes, i'm more interested in the ambient end of things (orb, klf, etc...) and the various electronic acts that would later get rather stupidly labeled as IDM. |
