How's my blogging?

Can somebody with Netscape 6 do me a favour and take a look at my blog? I'm trying to join a webring but the ring owner says that my side links don't show in NS6. She suggests that it might be my table tags, but I don't think I've messed those up-- as far as I can make out they're still as Blogger intended.

Any thoughts from those of you who aren't as hamfisted with HTML as me (pretty much anyone, then) would be appreciated.

I've got IE6 and I'm not seeing any side links either, Mordant.

Looks good to me... a left hand column sidebar, same as before. no time to check the HTML right now, and I am as hamfisted as anyone, I'm sure.

and I'm in IE6.

It's fine in Opera 6.02 Linux and Mozilla 1.0 (Linux and Windows) if that's any help. Which version of NS6 was she using? Anything less than 6.2 is bug frenzy anyway.

However... don't I remember an image being on the top left? There's just a gap there now. Is your image server pissing you about? If it's not huge I can put it on one of mine and you can link to it there...

Thamks, folks.

I took the pic down in the wake of the Memepool deluge, when my free image thing died a horrible death. Now that things have slowed down a bit, I'm going to stick it on the free webspace that comes with Lurid's ISP.

As for the glaring omissions when viewed thru certain browsers: Is it becoz I is Bloggered? All the table tags are part of the premade template, and therefore may be non-standard HTML (thus causing problems for some browsers).

I'm using IE6 myself (Look, it's not my choice, okay? It's Lurid's. Stop looking at me like that) and all the links seem to work as advertised.

RghghgghgHGHGHGHGHHHH! Unidentifiable browser probs! HULK SMASH!

Hmm. Okay, I was lying about Moz 4 Windows there. I now cannot see the sidebar.

I'm not quite sure what's going on. I checked the DOM and it's not recognising that the sidebar contents exist at all. Which is strange.

One thing I know you should do is put a </body> and </html> at the end of the page. I'm not sure that's what causing it, but it might be - do it anyway. IE lets you get away with these things sometimes but it shouldn't.

I could never see your tags bar when I was using netscape- which was why I was always confused when I got hits from your site since I could never find a link.

Hm. Still no.

I tell you what might work, putting the sidebar code *before* the blog code. For some reason, this sometimes helps with positioning things.
