Got this request over a Moorish list I'm on. Since a few here happen to get WFMU locally, thought I'd see if anyone might be able to help. Sorry for the short notice. If someone can help, let me know and I'll put you in touch with the guy.

If anyone has the ability to tape from a webcast, an excerpt of the infamous "Eskimo Janitor Tapes" take-over of a Canadian Broadcasting Corp. studio during a CBC strike will air on WFMU today at 4 p.m. (Central Time) on the "Airchecks" show. The Eskimo janitorial staff of a CBC station barricaded themselves inside the studio, got stoned, sang over Rolling Stones songs, made up their own songs on the spot and spun Frank Zappa cuts. Outlaw radio at its finest!
If anyone CAN tape this, please let me know. I'm sure I can work out a fun audio trade... |
