well, i dunno if i got to send it here or in the films/tv section...
does anybody saw this documentary on the super-heroes genesis ?
it's a collaboration between canadian tv and french/german culture channel called "arte", and it contains interventions from stan lee (of course...), john romita sr, john busceman, joe quesada, bill sienkewicz, dave gibbons, jim lee, travis charest, and many more.
it's focused on the big 2 editors, and there's not a minute on the alternative press, but it's pretty interesting, and all, plus there's some pretty cool bonus in the dvd, like an interview with stan the man, moebius, some showcases with great artists drawing characters like spidey, green lantern, elektra (sienkewicz does it with magnificence), and more. |
