Upon ingestion I see the surface of a large body of dark water, I am diving into it, swimming deeper and deeper towards a starnge bluish light beneath me. At one point I become conscious of being out of my depth, panic and start to swim back up, then I realise that I haven't reached the light, which I presume is my goal.

What is your depth?

Water and emotion appear intrinsicaly linked:

'Father, water is leaking from here eyes?'

'Yes my dear, they are called tears, it's a sign of their weakness'

(Conversation between Ming the Merciless and his Daughter from Flash Gordon(US, 1980) regarding Dale Arden's witnessing of Flashes Execution.)

The watery analogy of depth and volume with emotion was expressed upon witnessing a medium I know start to channel. I could see in her face her passing through her emotional spectrum, until she reached a place where a personality could communicate through her.

What lies beyond emotion?

Laguz has focused my experience of my own emtional volume, tasting again very strong and powerful inner forces, that can override the conscious mind and ego. Surpassing my own identity. Within this I have been able to pick up messages, visualisations and contact in the ether, with greater clarity. The water is a medium or conduit, and the wider the bandwidth felt, the better and finer the signal.

Q. Why do the sensitives have to experience such a intensity of emotion, both positive and negative?

A. So that their emotional spectrum can encompass any activity within the extended spectrum.

My DNA is the cart in which I travel the sea of emotions.

The Rune of the Month says this rune has two names, one meaning "lake" (as a mysterious body of water) and one meaning "leek" (as a member of the onion family).

Goes on about the etymology of "gar-leek" as the "spear-onion" as in a herbal treatment for infected or poisoned wounds.

and land of the fish.

Anglo-Saxon: Lagu
The ocean seems interminable to me,
if they venture on the rolling bark
and the waves of the sea terrify them
and the courser of the deep heed not its bridle.

The two elements, fire and ice, meet once more. The stark line of Isa softens and bends.

I asociate this rune very strongly with healing. There's the leek/medicinal connections mentioned in the link above, also the concept of a cleansing stream running through the body.
