Just read this collection, didn't think it was that bad as I had originally thought, though it helps to have the prologue to make sense of the first issue which I didn't like originally. The professor character seems a bit too close to either The Engineer and/or The Doctor in terms of what she could do but otherwise...

Has this been cancelled? Because the fact that at some point they would have to fight The Authority looked genuinely interesting.

It was cancelled with issue 12 because no one "got it" and were strrongly put off by the first issue.

I found it confusing at times, but enjoyed it nevertheless- although Mcrea's art was to cartoony for the series.

It looked like about issues 1-4, plus a prologue set at a party on board The Carrier where the Weatherman and Jack Hawksmoor glare at each other a lot. It's a shame it tanked, I think it looked good.

I have the whole run and it works pretty well as a whole, though not so much as a monthly. I enjoyed it, though at times it seemed to be high concepts with not so much substance behind them.

That said, I quite enjoyed it, and have actually re-read the series a couple of times.
