These are in the Hello Kitty thread, yeah? Presumably the site hosting the images doesn't support link-outs. It happens sometimes: some sites have filters in place to block image linking, either for intellectual-property reasons, or because linking to an image puts additional bandwidth burden on the site that's being linked to and they don't feel like paying good money just so you can get your yocks.

Solution: Post links to the images in question, instead.

Oops. I suddenly came to the same conclusion just after I started this thread, so put it up for deletion. Figured it'd be gone before anyone replied. Sorry for wasting your time, both. I am Randy's shuffling feet of embarrassment.
