My Website: Almost Here

After 2 years of sitting on the domain name I finally have a website up - sort of.

There's not much of anything there at the moment, just a start page, but hopefully by next week the doors will be flung wide open and you can see all kinds of groovy stuff - sketchbook pages, finished art, excerpts from upcoming projects...and the long-awaited Morrison/Stewart Jerry Springer strip for the Scottish Opera.

Go have a look at http://www.cameron-stewart.com and join the mailing list for notification of the launch...

Wow. Honestly, Cam, that's the freshest pic I've seen you do. Kinda Rissoian, and I really can't think of a higher compliment. I didn't remember your lines being that slinky. Bring on LeSexy! I'll definitely be keen on seeing the full site. Fresh logo, too. I'll be sure to let y'all know when my webcomic launches. (next week or two)

Benjamin.

Thanks Benjamin - I think there will be a lot of stuff on the site that you'll enjoy, then. There's a lot of my work that people around here haven't seen...

Finally - the website is open. There's a couple of sections that need to be completed but the important stuff, the gallery sections, are available for viewing. Thos of you that subscribed to the mailing list will have received notification already, but I thought it worth posting here for any who are interested...

Check the link at the top of the thread.

Yeah, that is a pretty fresh site there, Cam.

Is that Edith with the moon on her shoulders?

Good work. Very good work.

That Gallery image of Helga is to positively DIE for. Damn fine work all around. I'm terribly excited that you're on prettifying duties for Invisibles Vol.3 Gush, etc.

That's really nice, Cameron; your finished work reminds me a bit of Rian Hughes (a very good thing,) and the sketches of Beast and Blade are phenomenal.

Thanks all...

The Hughes comparison is funny - I met him at San Diego last month. Nice chap.

Also received his new book "Device" in the post yesterday - a reasonably complete collection of all his commercial illustration work, including all of his logos and covers for DC. You can get it on amazon.co.uk

right workout what the last problem was - cameron telling me to use a hyphen that isn't there- but now i get to a log in screen that offers me no way to actually register. Have i missed my chance now?

Sleaze: you're looking at www.cameronstewart.com - which is NOT my site, but the website of some other guy with the same name as me.

No, seriously. I've emailed him about it and everything.

My site is www.cameron-stewart.com - WITH a hyphen.

Say, that Amelie is pretty snappy. I also like the way the Jerry Springer thing (mainly Jerry's face) reminded me of Mad magazine strips from my childhood.

I wonder - do you do any non-comics illustration work?
